Just did my first solo this morning, my instructor did the exact same thing with me too! I was chittin pretty good too cause I haven't flown in 3 weeks and there was a gnarly crosswind, had a near perfect landing though so I'm pretty stoked. Lol

I'm not nervous for mine, all you do is fly a circuit around the airport, well that's how it is at the place I'm getting my license. And I've done a lot of circuits so it's nothing really to worry about. And the instructor won't let you solo unless he feels you are 100% good to go.

I'm Ready to do my solo any time now, just need to wait to get my radio license in the mail. I took the last month of work off and flew every day, so much easier doing that.
