The milwaukee M12's go in and out fine. I had some ching chong meow 6 AH M12's that didn't fit as well but they have crapped out now. I definitely recommend bigger batteries in it as it's a bit thirsty. Mine has mostly been used outside for doing work on one of my trucks when the garage is full...
