Did not mean to offend. Just spitballing with you. My deck being just a standard deck probably has alot to do with it. Extending those sides on yours probably puts more stress on the bed rails.
Sounds like maybe the legs didn't have enough preload possibly? This is second truck deck was on, and knock on wood, so far no issues. Was told that with aluminum I need something under legs so they dont punch through.
That was in a 17 f-150 with a 6.5 box. I had an 18 f-150 with a 5.5 box that would have been similar but I'd have to either trim the rails that clamp to bed rails or buy new. I now have a 19 with a 6.5 box with deck mounted again now. I think I remember in front of the wheel well in the 5.5...
Removed right side reed cage no problem. Left side cage bolt bottom left is blocked by mounting bracket for starter. Is there a trick to getting it out. I have started removing and loosening starter and mount but it wont budge. I was thinking of getting a pencil grinder in there to trim the...
This was my post earlier in this thread. I had weight to spare on axle rating for my truck. I didn't have 160 litres of fuel but that's only couple hundred pounds.
Renshaw was really fun Saturday. Lost track of time and started to get dark on us when we started our way out. Thanks to the group that led the way (And helped with a nasty creek crossing) back out to the trail.
Do you accept walk-ins or is by appointment only. I have a slight shimmy at 120 from my 6 place. I have tried multiple arrangements with my fleet of backup turbo'd supercharged and nitro sleds (cats and yammahas) but still same shake. I had the same problem with my stock Goodyear fortitude's...
I put a standard Marathon deck (sides dont slide out) in my 17 f-150. Also got rid of 1 ton diesel for same reasons as well. The deck gives me a sealed box cover with security and I can load on it as well. I was as to load my sled and my brothers snow bike for a trip and without airbags it...
Check out T&T Powersports in Bonnyville. Terry has some deals on non current new sleds. Even seen a combo deal with a 16 m8000 and a 120 for a crazy price. Huge rebates and 0% sold me on a second one. He has customers make long drives due to the second to none service and customer support.
Have a truckboss in my 17 f150 from new last year. Had a 153 sled and a snowbike on it and have had no issues at all with legs punching through box or damage to box rails. Box is not lined.
