Thanks so much Chris. I'm hoping to sell this sled come spring or next fall but maybe for the next one! :)
Yeah I believe so too. Sounds good I'll see you Saturday! Should be there early afternoon. Let me know what kind of adult beverage to swing by with
Fair enough. But think I'll take my chances with the tether. I'm hoping to upgrade to a Gen4 next season so wouldn't add anything like that to this sled anyways.
Yeah I know they do. I've been riding with a guy a few times and he had nothing but issues with his. PITA. I don't mind the tether at all. And what are the odds of this ever happening?! Just such a fluke. HTR makes a tether extension piece too so you have more length that seems to help the...
hahahaha I nearly spit my water out reading this lol. Lord no. If I was I would of thrown myself off the cliff :p
No sir. Since starting riding in 09 this is one of the few incidents I've had with it and it was bad. I'll stick with a carabeiner and just never use the stupid plastic clip again
I still think its good to wear a tether. I'd just get a carabiner and not use the plastic little clip at all. I'll still be wearing one even after this. Just crazy!
Had to share my interesting luck from the weekend. I always wear my tether, I have the plastic clip the doo comes with hooked to a carabiner to my avy vest.
Well...this weekend for a day rip to Quartz...I get bucked off the sled, the tether snaps, whips back and wraps around my throttle...
You got it.
That is correct.
So I don't know why anyone would put 2 sleds on a truck like mine...I know I won't be.
Over the rear axle I have:
1 x 2014 Skidoo 800 154
1 x 2010 Crosstrax sled deck
1 x Cross track extension piece
Chains, tools, gear bag, avy bag, oil, washer fluid, spare sled...
Looking for transport of a large but light weight dog house from Calgary to Revelstoke anytime between now and mid December. Please PM me if you think you can help! :)
I got some wicked frost bite on both my legs last year riding in a -20 something day that I regret not going to the hospital for. This year I'm trying my merino base layers with Northface Isotherm mid layer and Arcteryx Trino Jacket. They both have windstopper technology so I'm hoping that...
After being in a truck sliding backwards down a road I decided to always carry chains. I just picked up a set of V-bar truck chains from Titan supply for my new truck. Already had the spider bungee to tighten them up.
Trygg is also a good truck chain but they are much more pricey that the...
