there is a lot of creek crossings after mile 21 and some are fairly deep, go as Glen says at his pace and you will be fine. There were some young guys up there on Saturday, but be careful the whole way even down low there are some tunnel benders! As always though the trail is worth the prize at...
Well I am in the north country lodge right now in McBride and it was awesome riding today,The road in needs some work but well worth the trip in to the top.If I can figure out how to post pics i will
I put an alarm (Compu star alarm/start combo)in my new SD even with the chipped key, when we park in McBride I lock the rim to the spring on the front tire with an un-cutable chain. They could still steal it, just not as easy as the one next to me. That is the key, make it tougher than the guy...
One more sleep and a wake up, and we will be in McBride!!
I will post pics from the hotel on Friday night when we are done for the day. First ride of the year for my new XP. Will i see any other S and M members there?
oh, and there are no chessy flames on the 08' harley he must have an 07'. My 08 is one of the nicest tow vehicles on the road today in my opinion and the 6.4L diesel is still young and is not problem free but it does have alot of power and pulls harder than my 6.0L did stock. Pulling does not...
I agree, all have good and bad. Personal preference is what makes the difference. Freedom of choice is a good thing. I had a Dodge and it was a good truck, just rode a bit rough, good on fuel but in my opinion not as much power as my 05 Ford. I was raised on Ford, so when I brought a Dodge to the...
I am going to be in Canmore for xmas the wife and her family are going skiing,I am bringing my sleds, wheres the best riding, and is anyone else going to be in the area from26-29 Dec? if you need or wouldn't mind another rider give me a pm.thanks I have been mountain riding my whole life and...
quick with the wit, I like that, in my five year old, Ford owns cummins and have not used cummins.Enough said!!Dodge cabs look about as nice as my first homemade gocart.Just about as much power too if my grandma helped grampa push me!!
my 05 had just leveling kit and i had 35" open country toyos on stock rims with a little rubbin, as for you Dean, I would rather lose a bet to drive a ford than pay money to drive a dodge!Farmers drive Dodge,FRAMERS drive FORD!
Myself and a few buds are riding from thurs 13th to sat 15th Dec, anyone else riding this weekend.None of us have ever been to Blue river before, I think Bill form Glacier is riding with us Fri and Sat, but if someone was going to be there on Thurs and wouldn't mind showing us the place that...
I would say the same."NO to Dodge" I had an 02" rode like a gravel truck. I sold my 05" ford to my buddy for $30,000.00. so there are some good deals out there you just have to keep looking.Chev diesels have had there own faults with them as well, my best bud has had no less than 10 sets of...
I am just building a climber with rk tech big bore, should i run straight race gas or is a mix with premium enough?I can get vp 110 for a good buck, but it will go farther if I cut it.
Oh and i drove that truck like I stole it everyday, plus pulled a trailer almost everyday.work trailer,12,000lbs,Holiday trailer 9900lbs skidoo trailer loaded for McBride 10,000lbs.
Good all round truck.
I now have an 08' but my last ruck was an 05' i put 157000kms in 2 years and it was a great truck. I had a banks six gun tunner and monster pipe. I had it in to the dealer once for a recall on emmisions. The 08' has more power stock, but wouldn"t touch my 05' with some goodies,I think everyone...
