Wondering what kind of skid this is? I’m just a stock sled rider and haven’t come across one before. Asking for a buddy so these are the only 2 pics I have at the moment.
There are a lot of good drivers out there. But your word is apparently gospel. When I’m going over the pass I get lots of lights to pass. Pretty easy to tell the new Canadians. As far as the speed changes.. you know a loaded 53’ can’t hold speed right? And shouldn’t....
True the interwebs do blow a lot of things out of proportion. My 17 has been pretty decent with my limited km and Alberta km. With limited load my clutches are able to be held after the deepest/longest pulls I’ve gave it. But haven’t got any west slopes riding yet. I have however already changed...
Probably hundreds of competent riders with a newish snocross/crosscountry sled. Suspension is key. Just like a m-10 will make a wedge out climb any newer offering.

Dad has all sorts in the tickle trunk. What we found with his excel and the butterfly mikuni was it needed a way bigger pilot jet than you’d expect. Plugs were tough to judge on. For years we thought it was flooding and it actually wasn’t enough fuel.
Does Yamaha use cats throttle safety switch or did they invent something of their own? Tether would still be best. If the rider is smart enough to attach it.
