Not to be a party pooper but with this design in the deep pow it’s only going to
exploit the biggest flaw of a 15 wide non 174, it’s gonna trench like a mofo, I don’t care how much lighter the lieometer says it is. All the public asked for was the same sled in a 174 with better bars and they...
I said that you can’t beat a duratrac for all around traction. I couldn’t agree with you more, true winter tires will out perform duratracs hands down on ice on the highway hence why I said that you need to stud the duratracs if you want ice traction as well, but good luck getting out of a snow...
Duratracs can’t be beat for all around traction and mileage and if you want ice traction too, just stud em. Every other tire fails miserably in either the deep snow or ice.
Just came through rocky, currently snow has let up and visibility not terrible but wind is blowing and hwys are very very slippery. I am hoping for a good turnout but at the same time it really isn’t very safe to travel at the moment.
I’m close and will go no matter what but I wonder if someone should talk to Nixon’s people about a possible re-schedule? I will keep encouraging everyone in the area to attend and I I’ll plan on going unless I get an email from Nixon’s people or I see something posted here [emoji106]
Not to start a pissing contest as I don’t own a sidewinder, yet, Strongly considering one for my next sled, but this whole 67mph thing doesn’t jive, not saying you don’t know what your doing Lund, or that at some point you didn’t see 67mph on your display, you built a nice sled and your...
I have the Highmark vest as well and I carry my pieps in the lower left outside pocket, very accessible, I put it in a spare goggle bag for a little extra protection and have had no issues, been doing this for four years now, I change my batteries twice a year.
Had a ‘16 6.2 with the max tow pkg, was a company truck so not sure what it had for diff’s. I regularily towed enclosed trailers with it weighing 6000-9000lbs. The truck seemed to handle it fine but the 6.2 definitely has a much higher torque curve than a 6.0, yes it has oodles if HP and does...
My ‘12 Cummins just saw its first repair other than oil changes, at 180k it finally needed a tie rod and and and a drag link, I deleted it from new, was my dirty oil patch work truck for first three years to 150k of disgusting abuse, there’s no Toyota or ford for that matter that would ever...
Not yet, didn’t get it over to Dave until yesterday afternoon, checked it with buds and found no codes that I didn’t already know about that are unrelated. Leak down and borroscope will tell more today. I did talk to dealer again, a couple of them actually, won’t name them but they both said BRP...
Thanks for teaching us all a lesson, it’s good to know there’s still people out there that think they’re better than everyone else, thanks for ruining yet another s&m thread that could have been useful
That’s a bold statement fella, you’re saying that because a guy works his ass off to to be able to afford the toys he wants and the mods he wants, the manufacturer should turn their backs on them? I spent the same amount of money at the dealer on my sled and accessories as the next guy, I agree...
I know they say to open Throttle to get more air in but it only every gained me max 10psi from past experience, is there something about these newer motors that makes the throttle being open more important? Neither cylinder to me had enough compression to make the throttle thing have any real...
