i do put bungee straps around the spindles as they tend to flap with out them

You have to drill new holes I just held the piece up and drilled through it one at a time and bolted it up
I used a scrap piece of thin black plastic to hide the couple of slots that are in the back of the tunnel
you can see the slots I covered in this picture from football this one also has...
Installed the linq removable snow flap on my 2015 xm Using the g4 snow flap. It can be done with the xm flap by cutting it down and using spacers between the flap and removable piece from the linq kit.
Only issues I see is it a little tight getting it off with out a tipped up bumper like the G4...
I have a webasto on my dodge for 6 years now with no issues (almost 2000 hours on it )
I have it mounted low under the drivers floor boards it actually seems to stay pretty clean
I have mine set to run all summer once a week for 45 minutes
my 2012 dodge did the same thing had cracks on 2 corners from the deck
drilled the cracks and welded up and then welded steel plates on the top of the box between and beside the first rib and then had the box sprayed with linex no issues since
also made the biggest steel plates that i could...
