Glad to hear some positive feedback, spun a main about a year and a half ago, dropped a valve on Monday morning. I had a 6.0 in my last truck and managed 15000hrs with only a set of head gaskets and and a half dozen injectors. This will be the fifth turbo under the hood of this truck.

Well I'm pretty sure I dropped a valve today on my way to work, not to happy as the truck sat all winter and I've only been working it for a couple of weeks, new engine will be deleted as soon as it's installed, just wish I'd done it sooner

I have one on my maverick max, it worked really good for a week then started acting up and stopped working, gonna take it out and see what happened, I suspect it didn't like being zip tied

I think anyone can buy the dyed premium, they used to have it at the fas gas where I live, and the co-op card lock .they called it marine fuel

I used a 3/4 fine thread rod from a puller set I have, any piece of 3/4 ready rod with a couple of nuts will work, there is a YouTube video on this, they are making it for a Polaris quad, but it works for sleds as well. I just used it the other day on a 2003 rmk

I bought a 2010 used in 2012 with 35000 kms, I deleted the emissions stuff at about 45000 because the fuel mileage was terrible. I have about 142000 on it now and the only problem I had was a belt tensioner fail. I have heard lots of horror story's about head gaskets and cavitation in water...
I've done arp head studs on a 6.0 and never retorqed and it's still running strong. A couple of guys I know have done them on 6.4s as well and no retorques. I'm pretty sure arp doesn't recommend it unless special circumstances with fire rings and such
