I don't run a sled deck so maybe my input is not valuable but I do run the BakFlip tri-fold hardcovers on two of my trucks. You can remove the cover and leave the side rails on very quickly with no tools...2 quick-bolts.
If the rails are in the way, they can be also be removed in a couple minutes
