im on the 4th version of top sprockets,1st was a one peice all aluminum with no shoulder, then came out with the add a shoulder,3rd was the 3 piece sprocket with the all aluminum sleeve,now im using the steel sleeve its been holding up good..hope this is the remedy.

frank i had that happen to me last yr,,my guess is ur top bearing is shot and heated up the sprocket sleeve,,hows the race on ur secondary look where it sits in the bearing? kevin has got a new steel sleeve out now..
