the trail is what it is
last weekend trails on boulder and frisby were smooth up at 8 am and down at 6:30 pm
best trails ive ever seen and not groomed in the day either
temperature is the biggest factor
i work some at a dealer in the winter and the last sled i would buy is a first year out doo
08 xp - crap
10 xp very good
11 etec - recall
13 xm avg
16 xm way better
17 = could be good but likly a disaster
all good if it runs good but trying to diagnose the new fuel injection system with 4...
loaded 174 x t3 at $16,549 plus pdi/set up= holy crap
loaded 165 x 850 at $16,149 plus -plus
dont think many snow checks will happen this year
most dealers still have a pile of 15's and 16's left
be interesting to see how much more rebates happen to blow them out
last thing i would doo is snow check a first year out sled
had a 04 rev motor issues
08 xp crap
10 xp best sled ever owned
14 xm fairly good
16 hope to last me 3 years and be awesome
traded my 14 on a t3 174
the rebate price on the t3 was 12500 pdi and freight inc.
3 year warranty
phoned around and some of the dealer trade values were scarry
5000$ the low and 7500$ at the high
2014 163 sp but with 3500 km
used to carry 3 pair up the mountain ,now only the doo gloves and a pair in case of a sleep-over
nov / dec in revy with lots of stucks and stayed dry all day best money spent
stayed at peaks in nov and buddy went to lay down and stink bug on his pillow
next day went to put his helmet on and one was in there - very funny though
keep your bags closed if you stay there ,didnt want them coming home
The new doo gloves are awesome over a week of mountain riding this winter
don't even need spares any more
2 of the trips to Revy were deep and tons of stucks
Pricy though
