Quick question on tethers for you guys.
I have a 2018 Mountain Cat. When I bought the sled the dealer did not have the new style tether however I wanted one installed so I went with the old style. My sled does have the wire for the new style (plug and play)and I would now like to have the...
Has anyone had issues with the recoil start on their 2018 Ascender? I can get mine to work but it seems the mechanism must be getting worn as it misses about 50% of the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone know if the shock issue has been fixed on the 2021 Hardcore? I might be in the market. On the fence between a 2020 mountain Cat or the new Hardcore.
I think that's the route I'm going to go, pull the post and reinforce with a piece of tubing, hopefully it will hold up! thanks for all the comments and help.
That's a good idea Snochuck I might give that a go, I was thinking maybe a piece of steel rod that was the same diameter as the inside of the post. Only problem is I filled it with fiberglass resin when the sled was new as I've run into this problem before...
Hey Fellas I hope everyone is having an awesome season! Mine has been incredible with some of the best snow I've seen in years. I cant say enough good things about my 18 mountain cat, its been an incredible machine, However I'm about 240 with out gear and I tend to be a little bit rammy so the...
I have the piece and thanks for posting the pictures David, it’s beyond a JB weld fix IMO wouldn’t take much to bust er open again if I went that route. And yes the cat dealer in GP are a bunch of A-Holes but it’s still better than riding a Pooolaris!
Just the oil reservoir cover, it’s the outer most piece on the chain case assembly, didn’t hit very hard but just enough to split it so all my oil ran out, 330$ for a new one from cat and of course nobody has one in stock!
Just wondering if anyone near grande prairie has installed a belt drive system on there new 2018, broke my oil reservoir cover yesterday and I’m in bad need of a new cover! Can’t seem to upload a picture but it should be fairly self explanatory, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hey fellas Just wondering if anyone has tried the new speedwerks control delete kit? Its fairly expensive but worth while in my opinion, also does anyone know if there's any available in Alberta or BC? thanks in advance!
Im running a 6" CFR with boondocker bars, I think the bend in the bars gives me an extra inch or so, im 6'5" also id recommend for the bigger guys pouring your post full of fiberglass resin, the new posts are a bit stronger than the old adjustables but its not worth it to me to loose a day over...
Id love to know what weight your basing that info on also, just picked up a new mountain cat and im around 225lbs what do you figure a guy should be running?
