I came across this on SW...
Compared to the standard 2013 boards the Burandt boards are beefier but have less open area.
A few other Burandt accessories that are coming, and apparently more to be announced.
Honestly I was expecting them to announce the belt drive tomorrow, show the rear suspension upgraded with the steel/aluminum bonding like on the a-arm today, and save the power increase for the big unveiling on Friday.
Just thinking if Polaris is saving the best for last, what in the world are they going to announce tomorrow?
Just in... 2011 Pro-RMK 163 for sale. If someone out there wants to take advantage of my weakness for shiny new toys give me a shout.:d
Pink Pro just for you... lol. A little paint and powder coating and there it is.
It's been a fun week so far. Wonder what little bits of info Polaris will release tomorrow and Thursday.
Introducing All-New Carbon Fiber Overstructure, available exclusively on the 2013 Polaris Pro-RMK. This new addition to the already light and rigid Pro-Ride chassis delivers even more mountain-friendly weight loss in the proven Polaris tradition of never compromising durability. How will...
The tubes are still steel. Just the end is aluminum. The bonding is stronger than welding, and if a tube got bent you could theoretically replace the tube instead of the entire a-arm.
Running boards are just a taste. I expect to see a belt drive replacing the chain case, 10 to 15 hp increase, and weight reduction to about 415-420 lbs dry weight (for the 155). May also be a new track and skis. We'll find out for sure on Friday. Can't wait to see!
I've got the max tow but not the heavy duty GVW. Mine squats a bit in the back when I have my enclosed trailer hitched up, so I'm going to be putting in air bags in. That is really the only issue I have.
