Finally finished. Put on my first 20 miles north of Edmonton yesterday. Drive shaft is in one piece, no missing cogs on the belt, but do the break in with the stock can. My shiny HPS can got pelted with quick drive belt bits that melted on. :doh: Other than that it rocks.

The intake screen is Fire n Ice. I got it from Chris at Parkland at the sled show. The aluminum gauge lifter I got from him too but off hand I can't remember who makes it.

Made more progress tonight. I'm putting the skid back in on Thursday, and hopefully running on Saturday.

I ordered a black from GoPro and it came today. Can't wait to try it. Looks good. A good bit smaller than my old hd.

St Albert got hammered and so did Namao to a lesser extent. It's as good as it could be without any base.

And around Namao. I'd be riding if my sled wasn't in pieces. I wouldn't be on the sturgeon river yet though.

The boards are still hanging on the wall as of yesterday.

I had it sprayed with Armaguard. No problems so far after one season.

I used Caliber Flex Glides in my 7 wide along with Superglides. The Flex Glides work quite well.

I agree completely. Even if the sled only has one ski.

Anyone have experience with the 13.1 head around Edmonton? Any detonation with straight 91 non ethanol? I was on the PAR web site. In the description it says the 13.1 is 3000-6000 feet, but in the pull down it says 2000-5000 feet. :confused: Edmonton and area is about 2200 feet I think.

Finished cutting the rails tonight. Everything is ready to go for powder coating tomorrow.
