hey smarty pants, what good is a tq wrench when the threads strip in the magnesium when threading bolt in with fingers. If you dont want a b/d then keep driving a chaincase, move on.
I would accept a beltdrive if even it was slightly less efficient than a chain. Fed up with chaincase oil, and with doo the crappy magnesium backing plate that strip when barely tightening the cover.
Gearing changes are a breeze with the beltdrive, so its more of a convenience factor.
And I've...
snow is also getting in around the seams of the hood, my pipe looks 25yrs old covered in rust. The xm was a powder sled, the G4 goes good but needs some good sealing up. So fed up I switched brands.
All this will accomplish is make doo riders only ride with doo riders. Can you imagine riding with a bunch of cat and poo guys and waving your arms in the air to say I need a break, my belt alarm is beeping. HAHAHA
the air vent for the secondary is a good idea..but
wobble clutch
fixed secondary
3 engine mounts
no vents on hood at all
now a belt beeping alarm.
Aye carumba that is sad
More playful does not necessarily mean wheelie machine. If you look at the khaos attack angle it is no where near the doo. Plus if you suck up the limit strap and stiffen the rear springs the doo is a lot better than stock
Cant answer your question, but coming from doo as well I ordered a khaos. The fact that they made the axys chassis more playful was a win for me. The doo has an awesome motor, but small gas tank, big boards, fixed secondary and a horrible mounting system for the engine, big bulky hood n airbox...
is this a different gear set? everything ive read if i remember correct with kurts gear down is a 2.2 ratio where your kit from kurt is 2.38. I want to gear down my khaos but want the final ratio around the 2.6, so 29/69 would be perfect. Was this a custom order?
