I have a aluminum 14ft with a 5ft v nose and fit 3 mtn sleds no problem with lots of room for tools and gear. The key is getting a 8ft wide interior. No wheel wells!. Trailer is light and a half ton pulls it no problemo with 3 sleds.
Doo needs a new chassis big time. Less weight/narrower boards/different suspension/actual hood vents to keep the engine bay below 300f/floating secondary/get rid of brake rotor housing and chaincase in footwells. the list go on. Drive a cat or poo and you see how fast the doo is a distant 3rd in...
majority of riders wont even touch clutching, i know guys who have never even touched a clicker. Doo has a market for these turbos. Many just want to ride and dont care if they are top dog.
1300 powder miles and belt has not been cleaned or scrubbed or even broken in.
On my Doo the belt was a nice shiny green, nice n glazed and would not make this mileage without blowing or pulling string.
Notice a trend? xp/xm/g4 all hot clutch it is not just the xp. But the xp was bad as the mounts needed to be epoxied to stop from moving and delaminating. Local dealer sells alot of doo belts, poo dealer sells the odd one. Numerous buddies were blowing belts on various doo chassis, they switch...
zx/revs..long time ago but hot clutch and belts
Back on my 09 xp, first 1000 miles 3 belts, scorching clutchs..Put a tied on with some primary changes. no more blown belts but still hot clutchs.
xm same thing, left it stock and blow a belt/pull string every 500 miles hot hot hot.
g4..belts and...
Like rich's vids over the years, but his comment that skidoo engineers know more than a back yard shop selling clutch kits is laughable. Doo has constantly changed the set-ups from the 17 G4 till present. They have had to put fins on secondary and primary, change motormount, shim motor mount...
Feck i laugh when people lowball and say cash. What else you gonna pay with...cornflakes? Last time i sold my sled guy offered alot less for cash..told him how else is there to pay.. its cash or certified cheque or buggar off
Basically 590lbs..they have a long way to go for the mountain. Utility/trail market would be huge though and makes total sense.
Watching the videos it looks akward and bulky and can barely get the front end off the ground.
RMK 155 is 510wet and gets lighter as you ride as fuel and oil is used...
And too many people are getting stupid with their complaints every year, so more and more gimmicks are getting added and reflects in the purchase price rising. Just like vehicles, most of it is not even used.
I betcha not one guy in this thread would even get noticed if they walked by them on a beach. Everyone acting like they would bang them like they never been banged before. Lets be real here!
