Tales from Kijiji....
Decided with current conditions, we should post a few more toboggans for sale.
Posted them last week. Thought my prices may have been slightly optimistic, but still fair compared to what else is out there.
Machine #1 had 12 inquiries in less than 30 mins.
Machine #2...
More delusion...this is a 1998!

I agree - but to even have the nuts to list it at that is something else. Tempted to be a arsewhole and insult with a "would you take $15K? Have cash in hand..." note and wait for a nasty, equally insulting note back.
Knock on wood, yesterday evil kneivel was riding his 200 around the yard and we couldn't get it running again. Fouled the poop out of a plug and backfired a handful of times trying to get it going again. Thinking it was a warm day and I may have slightly overdrilled the pilot. Back to the...
I have a 18 we snowchecked. The idle os annoying and yes, they are touchy with the choke. They have these motors leaned right out for emissions. You can get carb parts if you go through the fiche of a 9hp yamaha generator. I drilled the pilot out with a #76 bit and it's pretty close on idle...
Sort of circling back on this now. Truck is still fully emissions intact. Kept it that way as I hear they sell easier with them intact for the US market. Have a failing Nitrogen sensor up by the turbo (2nd one in 17k) and they are ~$5-700 for the sensor alone. Time to delete I think....
This is the best thing ever. After my wife was beeyotching about how many sleds I own, I sold a few of them and made a nice profit. Now she things snowmobiling is a money making sport, so I'm back in the good books. You should try it...
I use a Retrax cover in summer and swap out for my deck in winter. Takes about 5 mins to remove the cover. Remove it with rails attached. Put sled deck on tractor forks and lift it in with that by myself. 20 min swap.
Living in the bald arse prairies, you should see how those inflatables survive! They look like a punching bag - face to the ground..back up...face to the ground...back up...haha. Tried using them the first year we lived out didn't work. Same year, a week after Xmas, it was nearly -30 C...
Here’s our place. We add a little every year. Most of the stuff we build ourselves as we stock up on lights and cords after Xmas every year. We had more plans for this year, but ran out of time. We’ll have to save it for next year I guess.
The one thing I can really take away from that video is the color of the guys's helmet - it's bright and stands out really well. If I had a white helmet, he sure wouldn't be as easy to find. Will be something I consider in my next gear purchase.
I didn't, but knew someone who had one. Rode and wrenched on it. Motor was alright, but was a little rough in comparison to the others and didn't have the same power. Suspension had promise, but wasn't quite right. We revalved a few times and got closer, but the geometry was similar to a...
It's a simple emgine designed to meet emissions and replace the small block of the 500SS. It's about 85hp. Believe it's pretty simple throttle body injection. 600R for reference is about 127hp.
