Yeah, tried to find my old one but couldn't. With how much we rode around home last year decided it would be nice to find a machine that would be better suited locally instead of swapping tracks, weights, etc each time we went West. Tried a 900T last year and just couldn't get excited about...
(y) LIkewise I hope whoever has either of these machines has a good safe year and they run problem free. No matter what you have, it sucks sitting on the sidelines on a fresh day watching everyone else cut endless $hithooks in untouched. I have a feeling anyone has issues this year, good chance...
I wanted a HPS when I bought my 850. After not being able to find one, I ended up trying a Jaws trail. Has worked well, especially with the Jaws pipe. Rec supply has them usually in stock too
As said above by someone else, I ran my guys 200 with a hose clamp behind the throttle for a while. Works great - can rotate it to limit how much throttle you want
I spoke to a few within the industry in the past month. Most all agree that while all of the manufacturers likely have something up their sleeve, there will be a holding pattern for another year as their focus is to get supply chain issues back to where they need to be before they overcommit to...
I still have a 120, a 200 and a couple of 300's. My 9 year old is ready to move to the 300. He's a big kid physically, and is just too big for the 200 already. He rode the 300 a bit last year and wasn't out of place on it. My 7 year old is moving to the 200 this year and could have easily...
Here's out first mod project this year - my 9 year olds machine. No real heavy mods here, although I did pull the heads and give them and the ports a bit of a clean, rejetted and added a tempaflow and mostly color. He did alot of the work, including half the wrap which I'm pretty proud of...
Here's a few of the Snow Push I built for my Deere. Works great - Been using it since 2018 without much issue. Wish I woul dhave put a backdragging blade on top, but may add that in the future still. For heavy, wet BC snow, the tractor wouldn't push the full 72". Out here on the prairies...
I have a 2520 Deere. With a light set of forks, and 6 x 85lbs suitcase weights out back, I've lifted a hair under 1000lbs with the FEL. You need counterweight! I do load andnhnload my sled deck with the tractor too.
In winter, I built a 72in snow push and have a 60" 3pt Farm King blower...
Funny you say this - one of my uncles works for Frito Lay. The pandemic has been good to this industry - his sales are record every month when compared to year over.
Because of the bevel, you're going to be limited. I've have some work done out of Ontario for work like this. Couldn't find anyone with a laser, and few have water. This particular company had a multiaxis hi def plasma. For that thickness, I doubt you'd find a noticable difference in cut...
Ground pressure at basement depth is so minimal. If anything, the freeze-thaw cycles up here are the biggest problems from a ground pressure perspective.
I'm currently doing some design work for a client on the other side of the world in a mine shaft and @ 1,300m below surface, believe it or...
I have ICF from top to bottom on our bungalow. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Walls are not perfect, but pretty good as we surveyed everything with a total station before pouring, heavily braced, poured slow and used a nice high early mix. Biggest advantage I have aside from energy savings...
I have a buddy who is building a house. Load of lumber he recieved late last week was quoted at $48K in mid July was just delivered for $25K as the supplier kept minimal inventory through this and passed current pricing along.
