I have been around a couple of 850 doo sleds that are north of 200 hp . Not for everybody. We built a 850 na a couple of years ago that showed 198 on a pretty reputable dyno . Shite it was a handful at 3500ft. 2022 850 t g4 c14 225 hp est. hp went over the top at jh ,takes a little skill to...
Hmm interesting conversation. Yup on the eco boost but if you you were to make the same power out of the same engine without the turbo the emissions would be off the chart , ,probably not possible to get that hp out of that engine but apples to apples . Inducted air will make it burn cleaner .
Not how it works. A turbo will make any engine run cleaner . Emissions tested are emissions tested regardless of how much gas or oil it burns the emissions standards were met . brp Doesn’t sell evirude outboards any more either . I stil ride a na sled but the potential to meet a higher emission...
6.4 litre ford is not a great place to invest your money . Ours completely ch!t the bed at about 95000 km . It was still under warranty at the time and we traded it in on a new model . Not fords best effort that’s for sure
Back in the pre RR days there was a lot of overlap on fsr s using the same road channel so you would have guys calling kms on different roads with the same channel. Keeping the power lower and switching to RR s helped .but sometimes too much. Higher elevation and less obstructions gets by with...
A very personal bitch of my own, a lot of us have been through every possible safety class that has been offered or required. Oilfield driving courses ,fsr driving, Jsa s for every possible situation etc. But if you don’t know the road you can’t possibly know where the pull outs are or if it’s...
For some of us older riders picking a line didn’t include 27 directional changes . Not to say I haven’t made more than my share of poor choices. But the trend to somewhat shorter tracks and more power than skill is really starting to show with the latest oem offerings .Situational awareness and...
