    2012 summit belt "shroud"

Schooled? Why not make it lighter so we don't have to spend 2-3 thousand bucks on lightweight parts? Pretty simple math as far as I'm concerned

    2012 summit belt "shroud"

According to the $14800 missing from my bank account, not exactly a steal. I'll ride it but I'll strip every part off that I don't think belongs for mountain riding. Here's to hoping the 2013 summit will be lighter, it already has the power. I'd like to see Cat and Polaris scrambling to try...

    2012 summit belt "shroud"

    Anybody looking for a 163"X" with .4km?

    2012 summit belt "shroud"

What amazes me is how skidoo couldn't figure out a way to make this sled lighter over the last 5 years instead of gaining 30 lbs. How many of you guys are keeping that big ugly windshield on? How much does that half gallon of paint weigh that they threw on this thing? Why not offer it with a...

    2012 summit belt "shroud"

I didn't realize I was offending so many people. Would you guys feel better if I put it back on?

    2012 summit belt "shroud"

Weight. Easier access to inspect or adjust clutches if it's not there. That's ok, it's already in the trash can.

    2012 summit belt "shroud"

What's the deal with this thing? All I want to do is take it off and throw it in the garbage. The dealer says to leave it on but it's seriously gay.

    Play safe everyone

Anyone going into the backcountry this weekend please play it safe! The avalance risk is high with the possibility of large avalanches reaching full runout at or below treeline. Keep an eye on the reports and the conditions and good luck out there.

    Do we have clearance, Clarence?

Well you do or you don't I guess. I know a guy who put smaller drivers on his but I'm not sure how efficient that's going to be.

    Do we have clearance, Clarence?

Anyone done this mod themselves? It's spendy to get ken to do it. How hard is it though really?

    Do we have clearance, Clarence?

I figured as much but wasn't sure. I guess I could've just called Specialty and they could've told me. At least if you perform this mod on a Summit you don't need to trim the track. Thanks. ch!t, in a couple years they'll be coming stock with a 3 and everyone will be installing a 4.

    Do we have clearance, Clarence?

Is there enough clearance on the Pro RMK to put on a 3inch track or do you need to install the Avid chaincase like on the Summit? This could be a deal breaker for me and the Summit. If I could get the Pro and throw a 3inch on without dropping the chaincase then I think that might be the way to...

    Decisions, decisions

Thanks for the input. Not much help although. The Polaris handles better and is less money but doesn't have as good a warranty and is lacking in power compared to the Summit. I'm thinking the RMK looks like a blast to ride, I know from experience that the Doo always wants to have both skis...

    Decisions, decisions

Isn't the Pro supposed to be a sidehilling/boondocckingfool? I've never ridden one so I don't know.

    Decisions, decisions

I snow checked a '12 Summit X163 but I'm seriously considering going with a Pro RMK163 instead, already on the waiting list for a cancellation. I've been researching for the past couple weeks and even Snowest is sayingthe RMK is "the sled". I've been on a Summit since '08 but not the Etech. No...
