valemount is a shorter distance on the original trip out from AB, but gotta factor in the drive to the staging area in the mornings too, where as mcbride is only minutes from the hotel...
pretty hard to get much lighter than what is on there already.
in terms of cost i figured it much cheaper just to put a gear bag on the tunnel. plus every boss seat ive seen seems to have a tear or broken zipper on it somewhere after a year or two.
I just ordered mine from the dealer and did the labour myself, nothing overly difficult, only thing the dealer or similar will have to do is the rear shock, assuming you revalve it, but i had heard the valving is hardly different than what was in already so i never bothered with mine. did cure...
I just put a set in my 07 silverado a couple months ago, got mine from Check Corp, they work great, really clean once installed. mind you it takes a bit of doing, had to take the seats right out and take the backs and covers off, run wiring under the carpet and whatnot, but its very nice now...
i found the best way to pull a dead head down the trail is back to back, toss the track of the dead sled onto the tunnel of the towing sled, tie the skid of the dead one to the towing sled, and take the skiis of the deadhead, and put them on backwards (facing the rear of the sled. takes the...
Oh boy. "Isnt it by chance by god that some person is in just the right spot", so im riding along, and all of a sudden I am beamed to a avy prone hill by god, and at that exact instance, an avalance occurs, the was triggered by avalanches?
I started riding my own sled when I was 11, so I cant...

Re: Big Iron Slide @ Turbo March 13,2010
Not good news at all. My regards to all those involved. And rest in peace to the men that didnt make it back home.
Cant go wrong with that. Im a fan of riding, not tinkering, i did the mod sled thing a few years back and really got tired of stopping to tinker all the time. I like leaving the motor side of the house stock and etec would be the way to go. shame i just bought an 09 last year, but i didnt even...
Yeah probably the HAC, i had a 96, and it was the same deal, the HAC takes a dump and you end up running really rich. I think i ended up running 390 main jets in my 670, its been a few years now so dont take that to the bank, im sure someone else has been through this too and will remember what...
for the sake of keeping this alive, heres a few fresh ones
Bangin off some 9mm rounds, and my armoured heavy maintenance vehicle, with a LAVIII in the background with its powerpack removed. Pay close attention to the front license plate and frame though
Nice Nomad... Ive got a bullit myself, my 3rd to be exact. The one i have now is an older 6 inch travel 2001 frame with a 07 fox 36 float on it, though i just ordered a 2010 888 RC3 EVO and have a buddy lookin at a fresh off warranty Demo 8 frame this year. Since i moved to Edmonton from BC i...
