    Sugar Bowl - Abraham Lake

Doubt youd get far out there now. I took the kids out to baseline mountain last weekend and there was barely enough snow to keep the sled cool in most spots. Im curious too though, be nice to get some miles on the sled closer to home

What is our experience with the Skidoo 600R engine?

My dad has a 600 ETEC and for most conditions you dont notice it being a big difference until it gets real steep or deep.

Anyone here crazy enough to do day runs from the red deer or rocky area out to golden during the week? Hard to spring on the cost of hotels and everything these days

    Compact Tractors

Depends on the type of tractor. I have a hydrostatic drive kubota with a 72" blade with snow runners on it, and i gave up on the quad as the tractor is faster, moves more snow in a pass and changes direction quicker than the quad, not to mention you can stack your piles with the loader

    trail to frisby/boulder

youll enjoy it. I used to primarily ride McBride too, tried Revy a couple times last year. Had a great time. The ability to ride from your accommodations is a game changer too.

    Belaying a snowmobile

Those MPD's work slick. Used em a bit out at a mine i was at in BC. You could throw a snatch block on the sled bumper and go 2 to 1 and be good for 1200lb also.

    RCMP in parking lots

I have no issue registering my stuff in Alberta, but buying used gear and registering it in bc is brutal paying that PST again. What a joke. One thing I don’t miss about living in BC anymore

1 Etec topend rebuilt now onto another problem with another one

Pull that primary off and change that PTO crank seal. I picked up a 15 with 1500 km on it this year. Second ride melted the PTO piston. Found the PTO crank seal broke in two pieces. Called previous owner and he had blown a belt a couple of rides before he sold it. Had great compression when I...

    Sledding with your family

This is a very relatable thread. I started sledding with my old man when i was 7, wasnt long after i was stealing his sled at every break and eventually getting my own iron. After i had my son i ended up selling my sled (first mortgage, truck payments etc) and just picked another one up this...
