Like when the 800 etec was marketed as 160hp then the 850 was supposed to be 10% more and advertised as 165 hp! Who cares what the dyno says. Ride the sled that makes a person happy from the dealer that looks after their customers. I’m also not brand loyal to anyone currently own 2 doo’s and a...
For sure bigger battery and I think bigger motor on the volt. My dog can’t run that far and I’m cold long before I run out range lol. Getting 30-40 km in cold weather -10 to -20. Be curious to see what I get when it warms up.
I looked at volt bikes also but didn’t like how the battery on the Yukon wasn’t integrated into the frame. The IGO just had a cleaner frame design IMO. Also volt bike was almost thousand bucks more and for what I wanted I couldn’t justify the extra cost.
For anyone looking keep an eye on IGO...
For sure, lots of nice higher end e-bikes out there. I ride a Norco in the summer but I bought the IGO because it seemed like the best thing around for 2k and if I didn’t like it there is no problem returning to Costco.
I bought a IGO extreme from Costco for running the dog this winter. Happy with the bike for the price point.
I don’t plan to ride it much in the summer as I have a cross country mountain bike that I’ll stick with once the snow melts.
Doesn’t make sense the last couple years with diesel costing 50% more than gas. I sold my diesel when the price was close in late 2021 and have been laughing at the price difference every time I fill up,
Smiling that I’m not paying diesel prices. There is no replacement for the way a diesel tows...
As someone who owned a 13 and 16 summit and put thousands of trial miles on them I would stay away for trail riding. I did 50% off trail and 50 % trail. The track
Will eventually rip the paddles where the flex edge rods end. They don’t like high speed even with scratchers. I tolerated the poor...
Have a 21 powerboost on my second winter with it. Only issue seems to be the electric motor is loud for a minute or so on cold starts. As for the 2 12v batteries they are just tied in parallel to give extra capacity for increased start stop and 12v accessories when running on eclectic only. You...
What are the dimensions of your trailer? 7 wide or 8.5 makes a huge difference.
As others mentioned you will feel the wind with a half ton. I sold a 2020 3500 duramax and got a 21 f150 with powerboost and 6.5 box. If you get a half ton make sure to get a 6.5 box as the longer wheel base makes...
I guess if you add a bunch of extended warranty it might be possible but a loaded civic hatch touring is 37,560 including 1900 freight and pdi which took a huge price jump for 22 like everything these days. I think that might hurt civic sales as people on a tight budget will buy Sentra, Corolla...
Exactly, if people want a cheap EV better off looking at Chevy bolt, Kia or Hyundai. If you compare to an EV that’s $40-50k then things get interesting very quickly for city commuters looking to save on fuel.
Civics only need oil changes. Those things run forever without any other maintenance 😉. Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned also only new vehicle to never require warranty work or repairs after warranty of any kind. Some Will say that is rare but a lot of Honda owners that keep coming back...
With the civic annual fuel cost is 1900 and model 3 being 500 Where is the break even point? $1400 a year for 20 years is 28k so now the price is getting closer. To long of a payback for me.
I own an f150 powerboost and am all for EV’s if the economics make sense but since I live in rural...
