Well got bored this winter plus someone conned me into doing this. Build a old school wedge chassis, tripple powered.
I’ve had this XLT now in storage for over 15yrs. Pretty heavily modded for the day with SLP heads, pipes, and porting. Compression was ridiculous. Carbs were bored to 42mm...
Not sure what your looking for but that is the standard and only rebuild kit offered by skidoo. Anything past those pieces are individual parts you need to buy.
Having done tons of TRA rebuilds, typically that kit will cover 90% of the crowd. Some people need new TRA arms as the bushings...
You have the correct kit, you just don’t know what your doing.
Those pins are for the TRA arms, not the rollers
The od is bigger because most people never broke them in correctly and wipe out the bushing first ride
The snap ring is a spiral lock style, snap rings come out but the spiral lock...
On the dyno, -10 degree air, +20 degree air, engine temp at 55c, engine temp at 100c, it didn’t matter, 20hp.
24 skidoo has programmed tighter tolerances into the back pressure sensor. The boys have the software to monitor backpressure and alter the sensor placement so it still shows something...
this pipe kits is from JAWS performance. Yes it is true 20hp for 2023 models. for 2020.5-2022models it is 15hp due to the boost difference between the sleds. Dynoed at Lindermans shop. Currently the pipe does not work for 2024 models as skidoo has changed the backpressure readings for these...
Just stay home guys. Went up silent pass today. We did make it to the lakes. On average 30cm base with very small pockets of 50cm. Lots of rock and debris to hit on the way in
Parked at 54km marker, trucks only here. Trailers stop at 50ish I would say right now
OK it is not 100cm I was just up frisby today. You can ride, the deepest might be 100cm, more like 30-50cm. Spindle deep at best. Solid base with 10-15cm fresh. Lots of hazards. All the creeks are open. Trail is getting bump. Truck drive up was 2-3km and really icy
Snow is very late...
