This is my big use case. Our crew will split up in to 2-3 pairs and get so far apart, we waste 15-20 minutes constantly trying to regroup. Our partners generally keep each other in sight though.
"Remember the last time you saw me. Well from there i went blah blah blah". We always find each...
No. Different frequency bands for sure. If they are otherwise speaking the same language, which I doubt but am not certain, they aren't on the same channel so it won't matter.
It's ISED (formerly Industry Canada) that regulates radio frequency in Canada (and usually holds things up). In this case they are the reason the Garmin system on the cat isn't available here. There was a motion a few years back to open up that part of the spectrum to match the US regulations...
Indeed. The major difference I am guessing, is that the trail tech is securing the data somehow, and this makes it impossible difficult for other companies to tie in to.
I've got a trail tech on order now. I'll have to spend some time with it to see if it's transmitting encrypted data or not.
I suppose you are correct. BRP doesn't even have the functionality yet to be incompatible.
The more guys buy the Polaris Trail Tech unit, the longer it will take for brp to get any traction if / when they do come out with the functionality though. It's too bad really, huge missing opportunity...
It's good to see that back. The sales and tech teams should talk. Hard to find some of this info... I did a couple builds, and there was no mention of warranty in the summary.
I'm excited about this new seat.
My sales guy said there's a lot of 24's sitting at dealers still. That's going to drive down the price on the used 24 market. Looking like I'll keep my 24 for a couple years at this rate. Still sitting on a 22 turbo that wont sell. Can't afford to have a 22, 24, and 25 :D
Length should fit fine. I have a similar length trailer and can fit my rzr1000 and defender max. Door height could be an issue if you have a low height trailer. I have a 7ft door and my defender fits through with 2" to spare. Rzr has plenty of room, so I haven't measured.
