Is the Ski Hill for real? You can't make this sh!t up and yet they are still trying.....
50 cms in the last 7 days? 185 cm base? LMAO where, right under the snow making gun? Any astute observer looking at the webcams can tell you by looking at the amount of ski tracks, there's not a...
Any generic 12V battery can keep it running, don't need a deep cycle. Start up and shut down draws about 12 amps due to the glow plug, cycles for about 1 min, that's usually the defining point. If you've got a place to plug in you can use a 120V to 12V power supply from amazon (like $30-40 -...
Mostly all the same. Get one with a programmable controller so you can adjust the pump frequency, do not get a "dial style" controller. Also, some people will be horrified that I will say this - but you're best to buy a Vevor or Happybuy one because at least you can return it if you need...
I think renting out the space is a great idea. Lots of guys don't want to haul their stuff back and forth, guy with a deck can get 4 guys in his truck then and splits gas and grabs the trailer when they get there, makes it way easier on everyone's pocket book. Keeps wear down on their trailer...
Not a ton of technical riding around Sparwood that I would send you to this year, there's some on the north but I doubt you'd even get into some of the drainages this year. There's one place we call Deadhorse and on a good year its a wicked March spot, but wouldn't send my worst enemy there...
ah gotcha. - all in 1. Yes, I would try and connect a fuel tank lower than the heater, see if that helps. The fuel pump will pump uphill a couple meters, or it should anyway, 8-10 inches shouldn't be a problem. after that, I would say maybe try an external fuel pump.
Are the bubbles just forming after the fuel pump? If so, try tightening the hose clamps at the heater. I thought I had mine tight and had those little bubbles, and I cranked my clamps down tighter later on and most of the bubbles went away. Try and keep a constant uphill run of the tubing...
This thread is literally 10 years old bud! He has not been seen since Aug 2020 - so he's likely not going to answer you! I'm guessing when he meant "flashed" it up, he meant "start it up"
Had a relative who worked for CP. Involved in a "Hormone Supplement Importing Scheme" - AKA Smuggling Steroids. Worked for the mail carrier in the system and was still so fawkin stupid he got caught. This is what happens when you hire the bottom 10% of the graduating class. I don't believe...
Only the stupid venture out in these temps. Break down or stuck and you are in trouble QUICK....and then the poor SAR folks have to come retrieve their dumb asses, and they put more people at risk. Not worth it on a good year and definitely not worth it when the snow is low they can barely...
Gonna start fishing for a new (er) sled in the spring for my dad (anything 2016 to 2020? if the price is right - no budget yet maybe $5-8K?). Seeing lots of "price dropper" sales at the stealership now they have stock again, and someone made a comment "why buy used when new prices are so low?"...
The race team is not an accurate representation. I would think they would be using the TKI insert or a "Ski Doo" version of the same. Not likely going to risk losing a race on a weak point. An inner threaded and tapered "fingered" version of the insert would eliminate the need for the loctite...
1) make sure its clean. make sure its clean. make sure its clean. make sure its clean. make sure its clean. make sure its clean. make sure its clean. Getting the oil and gas off the cast aluminum is critical to keeping porosity out of the weld and getting a good seal. Literally should be...
Not easily I would think, otherwise they could just go into the dealer and take pics of the VINs and lien against them right from the dealer. Need a registration and a bunch more banking info to put anything against it. Bank would probably need a credit check and authorization etc etc and...
