Myself and 2 buddies are selling our trip to Grizzly Lodge in January 2017, 4 nights from Jan 18-22 , this is for 3 people. Anyone who has been here knows this is a great place to visit and ride, and you are well taken care of there and will for sure have a great time, unfortunately for us due...
I am on my 3rd season on a Mountain Horse and haven't regretted the move from a sled once. I was never a hillclimber, preferred tree riding and the bike opens up so much more terrain and it is never hard to find untracked snow. They definitely could use more power in the deep open areas but if...
I have ridden with guys on both bikes. I don't know if Yamaha is using the air fork now but if they are not I would probably go with the Yamaha, I have read the air fork isn't ideal for winter use. Both bikes do work very well and dealer support and convience would be a huge deciding factor.
I was out on Saturday at Coal Creek. It was socked in pretty thick up top. I rode in the trees just up from the cabin all day, 2 of us on snowbikes, it was pretty decent but had to be careful as there was still a lot of stumps just below the snow and some little creek crossings that the snow...
Re: A few pics from last season.
I run carbed bike, no problems. If it's jetted properly it will run just fine. EFI bikes have there own issues as well such as over fueling if the bike isn't running hot enough and the oil gets diluted with fuel, over fueling is not a problem on a carb bike...
Looks good! Are all your sled buddies riding bikes now or are you the only one? I just pulled mine out of the corner of the garage the other day and took it out for a little burn yesterday, ready for the season now!
We will for sure!
last year was my first year on the bike. Ride revy, fernie and golden.
Did you ever try anyone's in the pow before?
You'll be amazed where you can go with it, awesome for boondocking in the trees.
Have you done any airbox mods?

Saw today princess auto is clearing out super clamps and super glides. Front ski clamp on for a $100 and picked up the rear clamp for $75 a piece, regular price $150, just have to find a store with some left .
Hey everyone, have been out of sledding for a few years but looking for the right machine to get back into the sport. In the summers I love to dirtbike and jetboat, now need a hobby for the cold months.Cheers!!
Also thinking I might not mind the 154 as I do prefer boondocking in the trees more than doing big hill climbs, and maybe it would work good to upgrade to a 2.5" 154 camoplast track or if they come out with a 154 x 3" track. Something like that might be the best of both worlds..
Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and getting back into the sport after being away for a couple of years. Looking at a 2011 800 etek with a 154, I have rode a etek with a 163 x 3" and loved it . If I wanted to change to a 163 x 2.5" in the future, would I need to do more than rail and tunnel...
