Took my 2012 apart with 500 miles to do the Slp stage 4 kit and both cylinder skirts had cracks in them. Both cracks were half moon shaped and very hard to see. Slp told me they check all the cylinders off the pros that come in. Lucky enough to get it warranty. Then sent out the brand new...
Ordered my fix kit wednesday should be here today hope it works good. Heading to sicamous sledding on the 24th I think I'll wait tell I get back to put it in!!
Reset the TPS on my PV5 didnt help, did a compression test 130 psi both sides. I took the top end out and the reeds found that the top reeds pedals on both reed cages are chip and cracked.
the sled has slp heads, pipe, highflow intake, boysen rage cages and pcv runing the slp map. I'll have to do a compression test but the motor only has around 250 miles since the new cylinders, pistons, rings.
My sled idle's so low that the headlights and dash light will turn off and on and then it just shuts off. It runs find when I drive it or a give it a lil gas with the throttle but it won't idle on its own. Was wondering if anyone esle has had this problem or might know what is wrong.
I am going to buy one of these two brands for my Grizz 700 in a 27" and can not make up my mind. I do my riding up in Northern Albert so its 50 50 mud to trail. Hoping someone can help make up my mind. Any input would be great.
