Thanks for the suggestions. Just booked in at the fantasyland! It is a little overpriced but with the little ones I'm sure it will be worth the extra expense. There giving 4 waterpark passes and a gift card to the mall, so it really is not that much more expensive.
I would think the boondocker kit will be pretty fool proof once they release it. I personally would opt for the boondocker over the aero. The garrett is cheaper to rebuild than the aero and the aero is known to stack exhaust, thus creating a heat issue. I have heard of some first year hiccups...
I don't know where you are buying avgas, but if you are paying $200 a day your getting raped! Avgas is only about 10 cents more a litre around here than premium.
Hey I was wondering if anyone could recomend some good hotels close to west ed mall. I've stayed at the fantasy land a few times and it's pretty pricey for what you get. I hate driving and parking my pickup in the city so I was hoping someone could recomend a good hotel within walking distance...
I can't say I know where and how much he tests, but you talk to the reputable guys in the shops in B.C. and he does'nt have a reputation for making good running sleds. They look real nice with all the anodizing and powdercoating though.:d
I can't claim that I am an expert on the rapid bike system, but I was at dave micku's shop about a month ago and he was explaining the system. He said he has a tuner bike which you hook up to your machine and ride for the day. The tuner bike will make a map for your rapid bike based on your a/f...
turboyz have a kit that seems to working pretty good. Check out the ski-doo turbo section on snowest. Actually quite a few guys claiming they are getting them working pretty good.
I have owned and 650 and 400 and I was really impressed with both. They were both over achievers in terms of power. The other day I also got to ride a 500 outty and a 550 polaris back to back and I had to say 500 betters the 550 poo. The poo was nice but seemed a little shy on power, for the...
Two in one year? WTF are you doing? There was an issue with 07s but since then the 08s and up I have ridden with have been pretty good. I know of a lot of guys that have thousands of miles without issue and most of these guys ride pretty hard. I have a few thousand on my 07 with the 08 motor...
That is bs the trick with warranty is the person at the dealer that is dealing with brp. When we had a dealer in burns lake I was amazed at the stuff they could get warranty on. Brian(tukernater) got me warranty on stuff I had no business getting warranty on. One time he got brp to pay for half...
I see out neighbors to the south get a $1500 turbo or supercharger option when they snowcheck. I wish we would get the same. I would think about trading in my yellow jacket for a blue one. I personally can't see myself buying a $16000 sled and having to spend another 4000 to make it do what I want.
I could'nt agree more. The tra is a great clutch as far as the adjustability goes, however it is an enclosed design that traps heat and belt dust. I ride with alot of revs and xps and very few of us have belt issues and most of us ride really hard. A guy has to keep on top of maintenance when it...
True that! I did'nt really think about that. If I had FU money I think it would be real sweet. I got to try out my first e tec today and was real impressed. A 163x3" track and get the clutching dialed in and I think I would be pretty content. It looks like doo has a sweet engine, might as well...
Either of the 900 cats all the way. Alot of cat guys still miss the grunt of that 900 engine. In 03 when cat really started to put some effort into making their mountain machines and the 900s worked really well. The other 3 options in my opinion are not real great machines. The 700 powder...
