Here is a picture of Greg's snow bike from today going into frisby. Looks like this picture is taken just before you enter the trees on the trail before the cabin. Now the juntion of Frisby Main and Mackay Way. Can't wait for next weekend!
Smokey Bear Campground is a great place to stay for sure.
Also heard lots of good things about Base Camp which is right beside Peaks Lodge. Great place to stay with a larger group. Another good affordable place is the Gateway Inn across the street from Zalas on the corner. They have...
 Every year at this time we plan our weekends out in Revy. Given that you need to pre-book your rooms once the ski hill opens planning ahead avoids disappointment. The first thing I look for is a list of who the corporate sponsers are. This list is available on the the club's web site...
You definitely want to get a rino and get you're buddies to get them too. This way it's easy to find each other and if lost your location can be found by search and rescue if they can find the channel your on. I wouldn't get any thing less than the rino 520. The 530 is even better and you may be...
The riding is great in Revy as long as you are willing to get off the beat and path. If you don't know the area make should you have a GPS with you as there is lots of trouble areas. If your looking for deep powder you better stay home and watch a video because there hasen't been any fresh snow...
Here is another video from Jan 1st ride. These videos were recorded using the Liquid Image goggles. Now I need to learn how to edit.
Enjoy or delete your choice.
Had 4 great days of riding in Revy between christmas and new years. The snow was great if you found areas that weren't tracked up. Still lots of untouched area to be had. The snow is soft with a great base under it which makes it great for exploring. It was fogy most of the time with a few small...
We are around for the weekend and until Jan 1st if you're needing our help to get a sled out. We will be working to get rigged up to be able to tow out snow bikes as well. Hopefully everyone has a great holiday season.
Raising the clicker position above 4 will increase your peak rpm but only because of added slip. Your clutches will get hotter and you will not gain any track speed. If you are running above clicker 4 you need to adjust pin weight or spring force.
If you hit the throttle and hold it wide...
if you ride in the steep and deep, the summit xm clutch is ok but could be improved. The issue is the rpms start to drop down 300-400 rpm while climbing. you can back off the throttle and hit it again and the rpm will go to 7900-8000 rpm but than slowly start dropping. Install a dj clutch kit...
I don't understand it. What has changed? I never heard of this happening on the 2011 or the 2012 etecs and this part of the shed hasn't changed or has it?
People that leave their garbage for other to clean up need to grow up. They will not do it on their own and unfortunatly most people are not willing to speek up. It is because we don't speek up that they think it's ok. We need to stand together and ensure they know we will not put up with there...
Having a GPS and 2-way radio are a must at this time of year. The weather can change quickly and if your not familair with the area it's easy to get lost.
