1/2" heims are a joke - fact. Jan when you break yours its going to be a very unwelcome surprise, I hope you don't get hurt.
5/8" heims are tough
i have ran both Skinz and now Zbroz - both have weak tied rods - both make a big difference in handling
Okay what the Faak I quoted bobsledder, he's the one that wanted to kick sledmama not me.
All I said was holy ch!t talk about full contact sledding.
barry your quoting the wrong guy.
Bought some last spring, my TNytro ran it just fine. Bought a couple pails of C14 in Dawson last winter $158.00 per pail plus HST it saw no difference between that and the AFD fuel.
Remember to get the shocks fitted with spherical bushings to use this kit on a Nytro, or new shocks. I had mine refitted, then went to the Raptor shocks that will work on the Skinz front end.
If your referring to the Vidio of the sled in Sugar bowl in your quote - that's a Turbo Pro Rmk not a Nytro, not that it really matters.
Yes a stock 800 will climb it but way less track speed than that Pro that's for certain :)
Trax - Not trying to get anyone upset - All it takes is for your front end to break once to put a bad taste in a persons mouth.
For me I had a sled trip booked and no way of getting parts in time, I needed a sled so I bought a new Pro. I have new updated
1/2"Heims and used once and 5/8" lowers...
I'm not going to bash here, just give a couple facts - I have the Skins Concept front end on my 2010 TNytro - Yes it improves the handling for the better - does it make it ride like a Pro - NOPE, I have a 2012 Pro so easy to compare.
I broke the lower arm heim joint on mine with the original...
