The spot reps will be at the sled show in Calgary this weekend as they were in Edmonton. With acting on the same sats as the sat phones everyone knows that they do not work at certain times of the day and how much cloud cover there is. Position of yourself in relation to the position of the...
Glad to hear that everyone is ok. Sat phones use the same towers as the spot. At lease with sat phone you will be able to tell if the tranmission goes through by talking to a warm body. I use a ACR Micorfix PLB.:)
Yes springs is a much needed requirement.
You will not be dissapointed with a can. It saves some weight on the machine and makes you sound like a average sledder.
Gas can for the back.
Gauge package for temps, etc may be something that you may want to look at or consider at this point...
My wife gets so ticked off at me when I turn up the sled sounds. LMFAO! It makes me feel like I am right there riding.
But yeah the music is not the greatest, but it has gotten better.
The new Danger Zone dvd has pretty good music.
How bout the opening sounds for TS8. It is like I am in...
Great pics guys! Those pics make me want to get an explanation for each picture.
I must ask and everyone else is wondering, how much snow is at the cabins.:):):beer:d:d:beer::cool:
It is very difficult to understand these maps. I read maps much of the time and find it difficult to get bearings. There is not very many useable reference points. What does fish and wildlife expect us to do? Are we supposed to input each and every coordinate into my gps which will take quite...
Well the 163 will be good in deeper snow for your size. But, are you going to need the extra track if you are still doing 50/50. You can always get around grabbing back on some others tracks if it is deeper. But in the spring or heavier set up snow it is much harder to maneuver around. I...
I am stearing away from the Team kit more and more. Just ordered the DJ kit and am very skeptical due to the fact that all my friends think that I wasted my money. We will see and I will report back.
For myself I stand up and where my hands reach naturally is how I determine how much rise I need. I am 5 foot 7 and I have 8 inch on 07xrs and stock riser on 09 xp. Different riding positions etc put my hands in different areas. I also use the adjustable riser from Monster works motion...
IMO you need to do both. I have geared down both my sleds and clutched many times. I still hold 45-47mph around Revy riding. Stock other than can, gears and clutched many times over.
I would not go any longer than 163 either. You can add more lug to it for deeper riding and not affect manueverability. I still find there are many days that there is not much difference between the shorter tracks with a bit of a base on my 163 stock. But hey, I realize that there is still...
Not true, they are easier to maneuver than a Rev!!!!. :):):):)
1998 and 1999 are the same with DPM technology. 151 track and proper clutching will keep up with many new sleds. Ensure if it is an X that it has had supreme gas run through it because if not then engine may not work much longer...
