I believe Dynamoe Joe will tell you to run the stock gearing. I always gear mine down 1 tooth, on the top gear. You may need to get a different chain, but I can remember its been so long since I geared down my 07 and 09 ski doos. Try the set up stock first and then determine if gearing down...

Well it might as well have been foggy and snowed in for me as well due to the fact that the sled was running like crap. Took the sled to sled shed and they fixed it in under 5 minutes. :):):):) But at least I did not have to fix antything major. Thanks for the Thanks in advance.

Mine has always been around 120. I am in alberta, full throttle, both plugs out. Each gauge will likely be a bit different. But the 07 where low in that year then ski doo bumped it back up. :):)

Doo searches on here and Doo talk, you will find tonnes of info to read. Track is junk, engine had crank problems for many, not all, clutching problems, relay, I have 20,000 into mine, I got so deeper and deeper trying to make it work. Now, I will say I will take it up against any xp out there.

RU stupid or something? Did you not even read his initial post. He never asked anything about the engine being blown. What you got to trash mine or anyones comments. We all know that there was many problems. I have had my share. But grow up "newbie".

I would start with the spring cap as well. I had some weird problems with the relay. It did the same type of stuff. Changed the relay from Napa and changed the spring cap. Problems solved. Then I would check Raves and do a compression check to make sure. Compression is not high on 07 as...

I have seen that before and then just waited alittle bit and redid it. Then it worked fine. I have sent emails to Ron at snow and mud and never get a reply back. So I would jsut wait.

I would take it Trackside in Olds, Alberta. It is likely on your way back or to Golden. Olds does good work on sleds. Good luck.

You can just purchase the fan and put them into pretty much any goggle. I put them in my Oaklys. I have purchased mine direct from Habervision (1800 number) in the states and they send them up. Fan works awesome.:d:d:d

You will need to pull the jackshaft out to change the Helix. I do not think that you can get it off without doing that.
