The guy obviously had a different head on there and put the stocker back on there to sell it. Problem is he used the same "O" rings. They cost about 20 bucks and should be changed whenever you unbolt the head, for peace of mind. The other seals usually can be re-used. You could try checking the...
You can just do like we do, always assume the worst and ride accordingly. We regularily shake our heads and keep on riding past groups of inexperienced guys. I have tried the teaching and preaching thing, but some guys know everything and cant be taught anything it would seem.
I just read this whole thread for the first time. If I didnt know better, I would assume alot of people here were 12.
As far as the actual topic goes, which part of "catch up" are we talking about? Sales? Tech? Options? Colour? Handling? Durability? Dealer support? Weight? No one manufacturer...
All I am saying is we dont always get the opportunity to be the first guy behind the groomer and have the premium trail. I ride enough that I get to hear people complain to the volunteers that there is a few bumps, and they refuse to pay etc... I have paid and had bumpy trails too, but at least...
You need to remember that you dont always have the big powder to ride as much as we would like. The 174 works better of course for the big pow days, but I can keep up to the 174 with my 162 in almost all other conditions.
Mine constantly has this issue in the fluffy stuff. It is not the cable however, but the throttle assy itself. Is seems if I ride with the heated grips on it makes a nice little chunk of ice form between the flipper and the body. Is is clear ice so unless you are looking for it you wouldnt...
Well I finally got to try a MTNTK RMK out last weekend, and was very impressed. I didnt get to try Chris's out, as it is far too pretty to slam in the trees like I do, apparently. Anyways they seem to be runners for sure. Throttle response was stock and no hesititation letting off and getting...
Not sure why a local would try and mislead unsuspecting snowmobilers down the wrong path, when they rely on thier support to stay in business. It is also illegal to ride down the rite of way along the tracks. If the CN police decide to sit on that particular crossing, it is gonna cost alot more...
A little late, I know, but you shouldnt need to adjust your throttle bodies when you change your tps. You can set the tps manually with a voltmeter like you are doing, but if your machine was idling properly before the tps went out, then you just need to set the lowest voltage on the tps to...
I suppose those big mud tires have the snowflakes on them or you are dragging around some chains to be legal in BC. Eventually you will run into the right roadside check and your F150 will be towed for being over the legal payload rating.
With the capabilities of these new machines, and the inexperience of the new breed of riders, this is only going to happen more often. He should have used the map feature of that garmin to show him the lay of the land. Works great when you know how steep the area you are riding in is. I use that...
My point exactly. We all ride in BC, out here anyways. And I would guess that about 15 - 20 % of the trucks I see are 1/2 tons. On any given Friday night you can easily see about 150 - 200 trucks roll through town, and alot of them are 1/2 tons with decks or 4 place trailers. Just waiting for...
