Ignorance is bliss. Guys like lefty and his buddies dont realize what it takes to keep the few remaining areas that we have, open to sledding. It is becoming a user pay sport due to the higher number of riders and limited areas.
Please support the clubs where you ride and pay the fees...
I guess some peoples ideas of good conditions are different than others, and now with the machines working as well as they do from the factory, deeper snow is prefered by some. Yes you can usually find untouched snow, might be more settled than you prefer, but still better than working.

Sounds like its a pipe temp sensor sending the wrong temp and overfueling when cold. Something is telling the computer to throw more fuel than it needs. Kind of like the choke being stuck on.
Weight, Weight. That is a primary consideration for me in the mountains. We are seeing more and more tree riders and less of the point and click guys. Sure there is a rush when hill climbing, but I like to hit the dirtiest trees I can find and weave my way through them, as do most of my riding...
2 stroke turbo's are becoming more and more reliable as more manufacturers develop kits. Yes, we are the gineau pigs, and some will have issues. But I cannot deny that my new turbo is nothing like my old system. With all the fancy, programmable factory ecu's and sensors, it is quite easy to run...
A little work is gets great rewards. Spent many a day shoveling access to hard to get to spots over the years, but it has always been worth the effort.
Sled will run if the main harness is unplugged from the hood. Kill switch grounds the coil out as I understand it so it needs to be connected in order to work. Check that your connection to the kill switch is good and you have a good ground connection. you should be able to jump between the two...
Thats why we call them CIDIOTS. You should see the garbage left behind from camping out here at the sand sunes after a long weekend. This new breed of outdoor enthusiast needs to learn some respect for the outdoors, and other people, but how can they? Zero respect for their parents, oncoming...
Still looking for this. It had a special case built for it with velcro to attach it to a backpack strap. Someone must know a buddy that picked up a sweet new Garmin last year? PLease help.
As far as using less energy, this will likely help to get the sled on one ski in set up conditions, but i found it takes more effort to keep the XM going in a straight line between the tight trees. Maybe splitting hairs here, but I just dont like the wish-washy feeling of the rear skid on the...
Been a long ways back in oasis, but you need to ride a few razorbacks to get there. You can avoid any big drops if you can ride in the trees, but coming back out is a challenge sometimes. North thompson, you need to really know where you are going because there is alot of closed area back there...
