heres the issue, people keep buying doo's because of their name. To be fair if the gen 4 was half as good as the xm reliability wise i would have one, BUT i will not pay 16k for a machine that needs clutches, a whole new rear skid, and aftermarket shocks before its even worth my time riding on...
been a loyal doo guy myself. But i just bought an alpha due to the fact the 850 doo is not all its cracked up to be, its got to many down sides compared to upsides. I like to think of the gen 4 like a dodge.... motors great... but everything around it.... well you know the rest.
Just seeing if anyone's interested in buying this machine, has a boost it low boost kit on it.
looking to sell it for 10k, its fully built. if your interested give me a shout.
If theirs no interest i will be parting out the whole machine, if you need parts stay tuned.
im pretty sure ive told you where to get this done previously...Could be wrong tho so ill say it again. Mountanmajic has them on the shelf you come in with yours and exchange for theirs and you are good for 10lbs on pump fuel.
Thats how it should be from factory, it actually pisses me off that skidoo is the only one who doesn't have a removable secondary. Like come on.... Must get a good deal on the ancient skid and bs secondary set up or something.
You dont have to buy it if you dont want to. BUT im running a p-85 and a team secondary with real light springs and weights with a real soft belt from a skidoo 600 all of 5lbs and it gives my silber 850 a solid spanking all day long. dont believe it take it for a rip. not sure if its one part...
Isnt the alpha the one breaking rails and kinking tunnels? not gonna lie theirs a 100% chance of one being in my fleet, just saying it could use some cosmetic surgery park a 12 beside a 19 and someone who doesnt know what they are looking at will call it the same.
Well if you would look at how many people like what i said vs. what you said, i think you would see that there is a trend of people the tend to think the same thing. That being said it is the same chassis since 2012 with the exceptions of some band aids, some narrow side panels, and a new skid...
oh man i hope this is not an actual issue for this motor, because im so impressed with this alpha, but if we are having motors fail with low k that would be a deal breaker for me.
