I went a out with my 450 street legal and found deep sand. Would suit my 250 2 stroke better. Deeper sand than say Bruderheim and didn't seem to be as big a ride area.
My two cents: If your under 5'5, find a bike that you can put both feet flat on the ground and start with a four stroke. Enough to learn balance, wheel spin, gravel roll, rut wobble without having to worry bout that unexpected nos boost at an in op time. ha ha
I love my two-stroke.
Yeah, I hav a Rm 250 insured through co-operators in Lacombe for $190 but they are hassling me on my 450 due to not having a license. ??? Don't get that. What's the rule when trying to get a class 6? Hav a buddy insure your bike/????????
Hey, I live on the west side. I ride a Husky 450 dual or a RM 250. Good to go on short notice, been to bruderheim, super dave's, southfork rocky area. Done sum riding at Enoch, Edson. I like trails, sand, some bog, ice racing, hair scrambles. Looking for any one that rides dirtbikes, to rip some...
Okay, we all ride but is it really us that are leaving garbage? Maybe the trails we keep open are just booze spots for people that don't hav quads or bikes? We get blamed cause we are easy targets.
Oh, well there are five races per season that I know of. Held at different locations around Rocky. Not hundred percent sure where they all are as I hav only raced once. The map on the website is pretty easy to follow, also the people hosting it give good directions if you can't follow their map.
Hey Lady dirt,
I am thinking of heading to a hare scramble in Rocky this weekend (weather permitting)
I raced last year in the women's class, with my Rm 250 2-stroke. Very mellow just go at your own pace, as many laps as you can go in one hour time. Lots of fun and neat people to meet. If your...
Hello to all, just thought I would check out the site as I am looking at racing this year. Living in Edmonton, Red Deer and Rocky Mountain house.
(Following the above: Work, rain, play)
Own a RM 250, love riding trails, tracks or trying out a new jump I built in the back yard.:)
So far so good!
