No bearing actually turns smoothly. I did pull the orange seal out and there is grease in there. You can actually press on the inner race and can spin the shaft inside the bearing.
Your right the discount is good. I save 30 on the belt. But then why should a dealer even make that much for ordering, receiving, stocking and then paying someone to sell it to you. Crazy eh!
Nope another dealer. But i get tired of slander when full stories are not told. Not saying your story is slander just it seems more and more people in general are quick to put down a dealer. We are sledders too just doing a job to pay for the next sled trip!
Both machines I have done the bearings are fine. It is like the jackshaft was not made big enough in diameter to fit properly and turn bearing. Instead spinning itself on metal surface and wearing out. Too soft material?
For the guys with higher mileage can you remove the belt and gears and try to see if there is movement on the jack shaft at the bearing. Having to replace two at the shop now. The jackshaft is wearing down getting scored and pitted. The bearing moves smoothly. It's like the shaft is made of too...
shhhhhh! Don't make this a big deal! Skidoo got this figured out quick! Only took 3 months! Lol. Driveshafts seem better deal in my opinion. Buy hey those doos are sure on fire! Hot selling item!
Wow you should really advertise the name of the dealer that gave your group a free demo for the year! That is very nice of them! Doesn't happen too often
