Yes I actually had a 165 all black ordered but called this morning decided to go the 163 3 inch orange instead.. He did say he didnt think he could do it but managed to get it confirmed today and said they were most likely shutting down snowchek today.
Also still waiting for dealer to get back to me about cracked primary i sent in 3 weeks ago, 1900 kms when I noticed crack, bought a new one so I could ride but waiting to see if they will cover it out of warranty.
Re: How is the new Polaris Series 8, 2.75" Track
In the same situation coming from my 18 cat 162 3 inch and ordering a slash khaos 163 3 or 165 2.75" having a hard time deciding ?
Thanks, yes no boost so Im hoping the polaris 3 inch will be better than the 2.75 on a N/A sled and if I have to Ill just swap my powerclaw track onto the polaris.
I still know the 3 inch performs better in the snow I ride here in B.C. usually dense and heavier. I rode a 2021 khaos 850 165 2.75 back to back with my 18 cat 162 3 inch and every time my cat would pull further and it felt that way when riding as well, snow was deep probably around 2.5- 3...
Well even if the polaris started a bit before u could still till the it kept gaining the lead overall. But turcotte is lighter then other rider and had a tunnel bag, maybe they had bricks in the tunnel bag lol
Best deal I can find now is build price that u do on polaris website plus just tax. anyone else seeing better than that? I dont see dealers knocking anything off msrp if there not charging freight, PDI or doc fees.
Im still pretty set on going the 163 3" series 7 track, more durable than the series 8 would u say ? Im just not wanting to have a track come apart on me, also I generally only get out 10-12 rides a year and have time to pick certian days to ride when its only deep snow conditions, which also...
I thought so too but the best price I got now is the build price I do on the polaris website plus just tax so 2022 polaris Khaos 163 with 7s screen came to $ 22 156 otd, also this is in bc so I pay 12% tax
U Guys are making my decision harder. I have always liked a 3 inch track but dont want to be dissappointed with the polaris track. Im not into swapping tracks or anything else just like to run my sleds bone stock no tickering.
Why do u say the 2.75" stomps the 3 " track is that just the polaris track. I know I climbed better on my 18 cat 162 3 " then my buddies 2.75" khaos 850 machine.
