He has been clutching my sleds for 3 years now always had them dialed in. He is my first call and recommendation anyone that needs parts or service. Will work all night to get guys back on the snow.

I don’t think they are. “Track issues”have shown up in the last 4-5 years. What’s changed? Everyone rides turbos, short tunnels and 3” paddles.
Skidoo since the 3” paddle was stock on summits had started putting it in the manual 2 pages worth of warnings for trail racers that states no...
Super easy to blame the equipment when one fails and ends up in a tree well. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been upside down and noticed I forgot a scratcher down and blamed it on my poor line choice [emoji23]

Best thing I’ve found with gloves is buy cheap gore Tex ones and buy lots of them. Change them out multiple times a day. Expensive gloves drain your wallet and never seem to last long enough or stay dry enough to make you feel you got your money worth.

The sway bar is a couple bolts and it’s gone... not once have I looked at a line and said ah darn should wish I could climb that but I can’t cause I have an 1/2” of track on either side of the sled. If 1” of track in 3ft of snow hinders you substantially from riding a line I’d hate to tell you...
I would burp the sled make sure no air bubbles are in the coolant. Did the sled previously get really hot? Coolant have a darker color? Smell off? If all seems good try changing the coolant see if that helps.

12grand is reasonable for a sled with a ton of issues? Nah 12k or 27k they should work out of the box. Was hoping for 24 Polaris would have it together but hearing lots of the same problems year after year. Hopefully this Catalyst 858 is a winner cause I can see a lot of Polaris guys flopping...
Amazing terrain, adventure and just great example of motivation. Will take this type of riding any day over the hillside ballerinas that spend all day doing hopovers and bow ties up and down the same face over and over again.

Last time I went up Boulder Mountain at New Years you would never know the interest rates were high or economy wasn’t strong. Tons of new sleds pretty much all of them turbos have to look through a sea of turbos for the N/a’s these days

My 19 175 driveshaft broke and took out the chain-case was lucky it got towed out with a homemade toboggan covered under warranty and back on the snow for the next ride. It definitely happens I just got a kick out of the dude that called the G4 bulletproof that’s all.

How many guys you ride with that had G5’s? Cause out of 5 of us with G5’s last year and well over 10,000km collectively between us we never had one issue…
All the days we pulled up to the cabin at Boulder last year didn’t see one piled up G5. Not saying there wasn't an issue there definitely...
