you can get good locks from canadian tire but they cost $40 a lock, but don't help if they chiesel the pin out.

the p85 clutch would have to be machined to match the taper, the reason why guys like the arctic cat roller clutch is because of the easy tuning. you can underdo 3 nuts to change your helix or spring while it is still on the machine. the team clutch is a awesome clutch but is not as easy to tune...

if you change out the drop bracket for the rear suspension for a lite weight one, you can save up to 9 lbs. couldn't believe it either.

it think the 02 chaincase is more rolled back than 01. if i remember correctly had about 3/8" clearance. not lots but enough

i have the same track and didn't have to change drivers, i put on extroverts 9 tooth and don't have any clearance issues

i guess there is an update for the tranny problems - they reprogram the cpu so the torque converter or pump goes in cycles.

i have to also add that the tranny fluid is now dexton vi - a semi snythetic oil

i have noticed that they are putting them on snow googles now too. i got a pair that you can install them on, not sure what the advantage would be?

i wouldn't cut off the tips, cause once you do that the rails are more prone to stabbing thru the track. there is a kit called an antistabbing kit to help to prevent this. i would move your suspension back and get an offset axle for 8" wheels.

someone told me that polaris quit making the perc reverse kit, so might want to start looking for one now
