our cabin is only a few hundred square feet (12 x 30) so it doesn't take much to heat it...... hunting last year, my cousin stoked the stove up at 9pm before he went to bed, it was 28 degrees on the main floor, and we had guys sleeping in the loft, I cannot imagine the temp up there, but I know that they were not comfortable, and I haven't put windows up there yet.nothing is as good as wood heat
