Annoying big time. I love how the ads say local to your city with trees in the background that don't grow here.
Can't even use kijij anymore with all the bullch!t financing ads.

And marketplace isn't any better. Click on an ad and that's the only thing that pops up. I was looking for use trailer tires and now its the only ad they show me

It’s wild. I’ve reached out to a couple and they’re complete cockbags if you’re not into their schtick. Enough profit and oblivious buyers that it’s worthwhile. Apparently they will approach private sellers with a kickback to offer financing on their ad.

I was wondering how that works. The amount of"financing" listed on Kijiji ads even though it is a private sale. There is always a finance me option. Not sure if that is something that you click when posting an ad?

A way around it is in the filters set a minimum price. Most financing ads list the machine as the biweekly payment around $150-$200 so if you set a min price of $500 it cuts the financing ads right out of the search
