i read that also. also read bubba was fined by his team owners for his vegas stupidity. they plucked a million bucks off this years pay contract. he was supposed to get 2.1 mil. not any more lol.

Chase Elliott got Chastained on a restart and was laps down at the end. Christopher Bell had a horrendous last pit stop that also took him out of contention. Was a nice day in the desert today!

Watched a video today of Richard Petty, Jimmie Johnson and the rest of the GMS Petty group. Richard explained part of the reason they brought on Johnson was he isnt getting any younger at 85 and they want someone to transition over to for the long haul past Petty’s lifespan and Johnson’s name kept coming up.

JGR announces today that Ty Gibbs will drive the 54 car in the Cup Series next year. Looks like the 18 car will be parked at this time and that team will transfer over to the 54 car.
