Anyone got experience with the Interco Swamplite? Looking to throw a set on my Brute. I've tried them on a Grizz once before but not actually see how they did in the mud. They where super smooth, and aggressive which caught my attention, but anyone have some real ride time on 'em?

How do they compare to the 'Zilla?

Looking to do 28". (9" front, 12" rear)

Got a bud that runs 'em....they seem to work decent in the mud and they wear like iron. I know they are heavy though....and I am not a fan of heavy tires.

For deep slick mud, my Zilla's turn into donuts. This is one thing I do not like. But so far for wear and an all around tire, they do awesome. I can slide on gravel and go through moderate amounts of mud with them, but if its too deep and sticky they ball up. This has me looking for new rubber.

If your not a hard core mudder, then the Zilla is for you. My buddy's MudZilla's can keep up with my quad and there seems to be no loss in handling as both quads rip through the trails at the same pace.

His are lightyears ahead of mine, as they do not ball up in the mud like mine do.
If your Zillas turn into donuts....the Swamplites will be worse....Why not go to the Mudzillas?

Your going to need 14 inch rims if you want that size, in 12's they only come 10" wide, but they do have 50/32 of tread.

I love my swamp lites, great all around tire.

Swamplites don't clean out very well, so like Dave said, if you think zillas turn into donuts you might as well go with outlaws or outlaw MSTS.

Had them on a Brute ,they suck....Mud bugs were much better. In dry skeg they were good; mud useless and it gets worse...at high speed the knobs roll over a little on hardpack ,making some fast rides into a ride where you really want to crap your pants...

x3 Have worked awesome for me so far....I looked for quite awhile to get a tire that would self clean and I find they self clean quite well for me. I have the 27x10-12 all the way round. Throw mud very very well...deep VERY stiff lugs...heavy tire, but so far so good. I have not been stuck with them on yet!! Albeit I don't ride the deep mud or skeg like some here do, but sometimes ya gotta go for it and they have pulled me through thus far.

I had 27s on my king quad. They were ok in the mud but I think zillas are better. Mine wore pretty fast as well.

Thanks for the insight, what do you all think of the 27" Silverback? Good tread, decent size, and good gap, seems like they'd clean nice... ? Thoughts?

I see you've got Laws too, how do you rate 'em against the Backs?

I have never tried backs so don't know how they ride compared to the Laws but I get through mud and skeg holes better than the backs. I don't think they stand a whole lot taller but the Laws have a lot better flotation and paddle better. Silverbacks will hold their own though, especially if there is a bottom in the mud, they dig until they find something solid then pull hard!!

Thanks man, most of the stuff here doesn't seem to have a bottom so maybe 'Laws it is.

I have swamp lights and they are a great tire for the average rider, great for people that just ride there quads for hunting and trail riding. I have 1800km on mine and they have done good for what they are and they seem to wear good to. They are better than my old mud lights and they work really good in the thick floating skeg they seem to grab it good without tearing it up(if you control your thumb). But i will defiantly be going to a bigger more aggressive tire next, something like a law or silverback.

Make sure when you do the tires you do some clutch work as well. The Brutes will smoke a belt pretty good with big aggressive tires and no clutch kit. If you want I have a Dalton orange/blue primary and a red secondary I would part with for $10 each. The guys on Highlifter and Kawieriders say this is a good enough combo for the big Laws but I went with the full Dalton kit and just changed my primary as I didn't like the higher engagement on the Dalton primary.
