Has anyone ever used this? Reviews seem to be more dedicated to the text feature and not so much the location sharing. Seems similar to the Polaris/Trail Tech buddy system but can use your smart phone with their device.

Appears to use a 1w UHF radio with a small integrated antenna. Range would be similar to that of a BCA radio.
