Hey guys,
Last weekend I was out in mcbride on my 2019 mountain Cat with about 1300 miles. I had an issue pop up where my sled would idle fine and would be okay up to about 4500 rpm but then if I tried to go past that it would bog right down and hardly move. I was trying to limp it back from spirit and I found the best way to get half a** power was to really blip the throttle quite aggressively. After fighting it for a bit it almost felt like it broke though and went back to being totally normal. No issues after that.
At first I thought the throttle was iced up and it was a tps sensor issue but cleared that up and moved freely and the issue continued for a while so not certain that was the fix.
Has anyone had this happen before or have any idea what it could have been? I was thinking possibly bad fuel or something. Just want to see if there is something I can investigate before next trip as I’d hate for it to pop up again.
Thanks All.
