Hey buddy, unfortunately I haven't done much so not much to report. Work went nuts and then summer hit. Did a couple little things like mount the hood and clean up a few little items like bars and finished mounting the suspension, etc. Didn't get out for a ride that weekend, it was pouring rain. It then got relegated to the another bay of the garage for the summer. Hoping to dig into it again a bit more soon, mainly need to finish the seat at this point and then possibly start on some suspension parts. Sorry I don't have more to share....yet. LOL soon hopefully.

Any line on a decent wedge hood? Buddy has a mod under repairs and the lexan hoods pooched...

Honestly, seems like FB is the best place for stuff like that. Just post up a wanted ad and I'm sure he'll find something.

Looks awesome. 20 years ago I towed my buddies sled that was the same out almost every trip. When it ran it ripped when it didn’t, I towed it. I don’t think he was very good at jetting or watching the digitron, but He was pretty good at changing the middle piston Lol.

Any update on this rocket? McBride is calling… Nov 25… be there or be square
Yes actually - you read my mind! Its come back to the front of shop in the last month and I've had a bit of time to work on it, was going to try for an update next week! Lightened, sectioned and shortened the seat, and re-upholstered it. I couldn't find purple piping for it, so just went with basic black. Also lightened the hood. Will get a couple more pics this weekend.

I did actually wind up with a wedge in the shop that is sitting on the stand right now as a different project sled for a buddy........ Did your buddy ever find a hood?

Edit - I will not be there on Nov 25 - Wife is in Bali for a girls trip and I'm solo parenting (which really means I'm chauffeuring between dance classes).

Clutch cover is next, followed by a hood block off plate and then onto the trailing arms and radius rods for fabrication to ditch some more weight.

Been a while since an update. Did a bit of testing and tuning the other day, she's got some "get up and gone" now as the bugs are getting worked out. This was my neighbour coming back from a quick rip (he used to have the same sled back in Newfoundland in 1997...).

I had a '97 Mach 1 700 I set up for snow drags when I was racing for the SkiDoo dealer out of Thompson MB (Nickel City Motors). Had alot of fun testing and running all over the place back then. Those old triples fawkin' ripped too.
