So i figure my 2002 zx 800's primary clutch needs to be rebiult. its got some rattle that I dont know it its normal. it feels like there is some play. so If i had it rebiult I was wondering if a clutch kit would have some of the same parts as a rebiuld kit.

When you say it's got some play in it can you move it up and down? You might want to check the bearing or the housing that holds the spring might be loose.

i dont know how nor have the tools, but i guess i should learn.

i agree everyone should learn and have the tools because it should be a regular maintenance item.

but at the same time do you really want to make a mistake at 8200rpm?

its straight forward but there are things easily missed that can lead to large issues.
